Colin Heaberg and Will Gisel met at Camp Dudley in 2006 and became best friends based on their shared appreciate for the overlap between art and sport. They launched Whim Golf in 2019 as a fun creative outlet to explore small-batch apparel production and experiential design. Over the years Whim Golf has been the source tremendous fulfillment largely because of all the amazing people that have crossed our path. Like many people, we grew up playing golf and then our passion for the game gave-way as teenage interests overcame the love for golf. Then, like so many others, golf came back for us in a way that demanded attention and appreciation. We suddenly realized that golf is the perfect game
